Part Five: Yangmingbao Battle

In middle October of 1937, Regiment 769, spearhead of Division 129 of the Eighth Route Army, arrived at Sulongkou and Liu Jiazhuang, south of Hutuo River in north China’s Shanxi Province. The regiment detected that Japanese planes made departures and arrivals at the Yangmingbao airport, north of Hutuo River.
