2018 F1 calendar unveiled

GENEVA, June 19 (Xinhua) - Motor sport's world governing body FIA Monday announced the the 21-race Formula One calendar for 2018 here.

The German GP, which was scrapped this year, will return at Hockenheim on July 22 and the French GP also comes back at the iconic Paul Ricard circuit after a 10-year absence while the Malaysian GP is off the calendar after 19 years.

The races in Shanghai, China and Singapore are meanwhile taking place pending confirmation by new commercial rights holders.
