Local government practices different policies according to different environments so as to guide farmers to adjust the planting structure at Gaocheng Town in Gaoqing County, east China’s Shandong Province. The government has already planted more than 1000 mu(about 0.67 km²) figs, walnuts, and other vegetables. It also has set up 32 cooperatives, and its annual value of production has reached 40 million yuan.
