11 Indian crew missing after cargo ship sinks south of Okinawa

TOKYO, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- A cargo ship from China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region sank early Friday some 600 km south of Ishigaki island of Okinawa prefecture, southwestern Japan, the Kyodo news reported.

Fifteen of the 26 Indian crew aboard the ship were rescued by other ships nearby, while 11 were still missing, the report quoted Japan Coast Guard sources as saying.
