BEIJING, April 11 (Guangming Online)—“People-to-people exchange is an important part of China-EU relationship. We always talk about politics and economy, but we sometimes underestimate people-to-people exchange.” said Hans Dietmar Schweisgut, Ambassador of Delegation of the European Union to China, in an interview with reporter of Guangming Online, at the “Beauty of Discovery” 2017 EU-China Children and Teenagers’ Drawing Exhibition and Awards Ceremony jointly sponsored by Delegation of the EU and huanqiu.com and undertaken by Angel International Art Education in Beijing, on April 10, 2018.

Mr. Ambassador said that it is very important to focus on activities of young people and children. He has been doing those things every year. “Children and young people have a very open mind. It’s very interesting and important that we educate children and young people at very early age.” He thought that the activity of EU-China Children and Teenagers’ Drawing Exhibition will have a positive influence on young people and children.

As this year marks the EU-China Tourism Year, he hoped that it bring more people in both directions.

This drawing exhibition will last from April 10 to 15, 2018 at the 22rt International Art Plaza in Beijing.
