China unveils 30-woman squad for four-nation tournament

BEIJING, Nov.1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese women's soccer national team has announced a 30-woman squad here on Friday for the International Soccer Four-nation Tournament in Yongchuan, Chongqing next week.

Head coach Jia Xiuquan fielded the strongest squad including former Paris Saint-Germain star Wang Shuang, Gu Yasha, Zhang Rui and elite goalkeeper Peng Shimeng.

The International Soccer Four-nation Tournament in Yongchuan, Chongqing will kick off on November 7, when China face New Zealand in the first round, while Brazil take on Canada.

Following is the roster:

Goalkeepers: 12-Peng Shimeng, 18-Bi Xiaolin, 32-Zhu Yu, 33-Xu Meishuang

Defenders: 2-Liu Shanshan, 3-Lin Yuping, 5-Wu Haiyan, 6-Zhai Jingwei, 14-Wang Ying, 22-Luo Guiping, 25-Yao Lingwei, 27-Huang Wang, 31-Wan Ruyi

Midfielders: 8-Ma Jun, 13-Wang Yan, 20-Zhang Rui, 21-Yao Wei, 23-Kong Qi, 24-Fang Ji, 30-Lyu Yueyun

Forwards: 7-Wang Shuang, 9-Yang Li, 10-Li Ying, 15-Song Duan, 16-Yang Man, 17-Gu Yasha, 19-Pang Fengyue, 26-Li Mengwen, 28-Tang Jiali, 29-Zhang Xin
