LONDON, Apr. 3(Guangming Online)—A ceremony of releasing “Health Packs” was held by the Chinese embassy in the UK last Monday to help Chinese students studying here to fight against COVID-19.
These health packs contain medical face masks, disinfecting wipes, traditional Chinese medicine and anti-epidemic guide handbooks.
Chinese Students and Scholars Association UK (CSSAUK) assists Chinese embassy to call for building “Mutual Aid WeChat Groups” in each CSSA branch so as to deliver the health packs to Chinese students studying here and express the motherland’s concern about their safety and health.
“When hearing the news about health packs, I was moved and I felt the support from the motherland.” Said Zhang Tingshu who is studying Media and Culture Studies MA at University of Sussex.
Luo Shiyan, a MA student studying Film Studies, said, “It is really a good thing to help us to be confident in fighting against Coronavirus.”
“During the tough time of being hit by Coronavirus, the timely help and support can make us feel the closer connection with the motherland.” He Yang, a Film Making MA student of University of Sussex said.
