Danish teenager Tauson wins Lyon Open

PARIS, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Danish 18-year-old Clara Tauson secured her first career WTA title at the Lyon Open on Sunday.

The 139th-ranked Tauson beat Switzerland's Viktorija Golubic 6-4, 6-1, guaranteeing a top 100 debut on Monday.

Tauson, who is a former Australian Open junior champion, now has a 19-3 win record in 2021 across all levels.
