Exhibition opens to tell CPC history through art
BEIJING, June 22 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition showcasing art classics with the theme of the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened on Tuesday at the National Museum of China.
The exhibition displays 100 classic artworks in multiple forms such as traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, engravings, and sculptures to unfold the history of the CPC, New China, the country's reform and opening-up, and that of socialism development.
The works are from five prestigious institutions, including the National Museum of China, the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, and the National Art Museum of China.
The exhibition will run until July 25. Enditem
