Walnut industry developed in N China's Hebei Province

Photo taken on Aug. 12, 2021 shows farmers cracking walnuts at the courtyard in Shiqiaotou Village, Dongjiuzhai Town, Zunhua City, north China's Hebei Province. In recent years, the local government has vigorously developed nut planting relying on its resource advantages in mountainous areas. It has now planted about 16,000 mu of walnuts of different varieties. The model of "professional cooperative + base + farmer households" was adopted to help over 3,000 local farmers increase income.
