Lotus festival attracts thousands in Gansu

More than 10,000 tourists from across the country visited the second lotus festival in Zhangye national wetland park in Gansu province to experience the most beautiful scenery of the year.
The festival displayed pink and white lotus flowers with emerald green leaves in the lotus pond, as well as reeds, sparkling lakes and groups of water birds, forming a beautiful and refreshing picture of the wetland.
The wetland park is located in the northern suburb of Zhangye urban area, with an area of 17 square kilometers.
