172 countries engaging with COVAX Global Vaccines Facility: WHO

World Health Organization (WHO) Director General Tedros Adhanom said on Aug. 24, 2020 that 172 countries have been engaging with COVAX initiative, which aims to distribute COVID-19 vaccines globally and equally, and to deliever at least two billion doses of safe, effective vaccies by the end of 2021.
