CBA side Shanxi terminates Ledo's contract
BEIJING, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Shanxi Loongs announced on Tuesday the termination of Ricardo Ledo's contract.
"In consideration of the team's development at the next phase this season, the club has decided not to continue to run Ricardo Ledo's contract after going through the first stage guarantee period. The two sides have chosen to part ways in a friendly manner," read a Shanxi club statement.
The CBA club expressed its gratitude towards Ledo for his efforts and contributions to the team.
"Ledo is a high-caliber and dedicated player. We wish Ledo all the best in the future in his professional career," added the statement.
Ledo averaged 19 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.4 steals in seven appearances for Shanxi, who currently rank 14th in the 19-team CBA with a 14-21 record. Enditem
