BEIJING, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Domestic disaster movie "Cloudy Mountain" topped the Chinese mainland box office on Wednesday, figures from the China Movie Data Information Network showed on Thursday.
The film, about a father-and-son duo's journey to save a newly-built tunnel and a town of 160,000 residents from the peril of natural disasters, generated 20.72 million yuan (about 3.2 million U.S. dollars) on its sixth day of screening.
It was followed by Chinese drama movie "All About My Mother," which pocketed 6.56 million yuan on its fourth day of screening.
Chinese action film "Raging Fire" ranked third with a daily box office earnings of 4 million yuan on Wednesday. Enditem
