Jiutai, N China's Jilin: "Rice village" shows a new look

Hongguang Village, located in the northeast of Longjia Street, Jiutai District, Changchun City, north China's Jilin Province, has been called "rice village" in the past because the village is entirely covered with paddy fields. Over the years, Hongguang Village, under the strong support of the district Committee and government, has adhered to the theme of "Unity and struggle for common prosperity", and made new strides in the work of agricultural modernization, ecological transformation, construction of local customs and civilization and environmental alleviation in order to fully promote rural construction and achieve common prosperity. Remarkable progress has been made in building a new countryside with ethnic characteristics and in developing the agricultural industry.
