Recently, most areas in south China have experienced continuous high temperatures and little precipitation. The hot weather is expected to continue in the next two weeks. China's Ministry of Agriculture urgently issued a notice to strengthen the deployment. All localities should take active measures to fight against high temperature and drought in order to ensure a bumper harvest of autumn grain. It should be taken as the primary task of the current "three rural" work. Disaster relief materials and technical measures to households and fields should be made sure, and water storage against drought should be guaranteed. Meanwhile, communication and consultation should be strengthened between meteorological department, water conservancy department, emergency department and others. Close attention should also be paid to crop growth and development process, and the changes of high-temperature weather, to jointly issue early warning information.
