CCC Students Award Tour 2018 begins in Beijing

BEIJING, Aug. 20 (GMW.CN) A group of 48 students from 18 China Cultural Centers across the world arrived in Beijing on Saturday for the 10-day Experience China tour by Bureau for External Cultural Relations, Ministry of Culture, the People’s Republic of China, the organizers of the tour, announced at a ceremony in Beijing on Monday.

The 48 students, who come from countries including Paris, Madrid, Benin, France, Mexico, New Zealand, and Thailand, will visit several cities during the 10-day "Experience China - 2018 China Cultural Center Students Award Tour."

The tour got its start in 2003 is aimed at offering outstanding students from China Cultural Centers worldwide the chance to better understand Chinese culture through first-hand experiences and communication.

During their stay in the capital, these students will have the opportunity to experience Chinese culture by participating in activities related to Chinese intangible cultural heritage and visiting the National Museum of China, Beijing's well-known 798 Art Zone and the Palace Museum.

There have been more than 30 Chinese Culture Centers overseas with the aim of building a bridge for people around the globe to learn more about China.
