Chinese, Myanmar artists present stunning gala
Artists from both China and Myanmar presented a stunning visual spectacle in Nay Pyi Daw, the capital city of Myanmar on Apr.2, 2014. This evening show was part of the grand cultural event Experience China in Myanmar, launched by China's State Council Information Office.
“Experience China” opens in Myanmar, establishing China Library with Univ. Of Yangon
According to reports, a series of activities will be held during “Experience China”, including opening ceremony, Sino-Myanmar compatriots party, establishing China Library with University of Yangon, seminars between two countries’ media, dubbed films exhibition and so on.

About the 'Experience China' program
Since 1999, the Information office of the State Council of China has organized a series of cultural events in several countries, including Germany, France, Switzerland, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, South Korea and South Africa. Collectively named "Experience China," the events have been well received by overseas governments, news media and the general public. They have become an established part of China’s cultural exchange program, and provide a way for foreign audiences to understand and experience China in their own countries. More>>>

“Focus on Future” youth league from Yangon University to visit China
At the invitation of China’s Yunnan University, the activity focuses on promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the young people of both nations. During the event, students will visit Shenzhen University, local hi-tech enterprises and theme parks to experience the modernizing China. The group will then go on to visit Yunnan University, the Yunnan University of Nationalities and the Yunnan Nationalities Museum to feel traditions of China.

China, Myanmar deepen military ties
Bilateral Relations
The level of economic cooperation and trade between the two countries was significantly raised. In 2010, bilateral trade continued to grow. The two sides signed cooperation agreements such as the Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation between the two governments. The two sides also deepened their cooperation in such areas as infrastructure, transportation and power generation, which further enriched the practical cooperation between the two countries.
