One World, One Family: Chinese and foreign families jointly celebrate International Day of Families 2020

The significance of the International Day of Families is to promote harmony, happiness, and progress of families. In 2020, the challenge that all the countries around the world are confronted with is to prevent the spread of COVID-19. At this moment, despite families coming from different countries living in Beijing cannot gather together happily, their hearts are still with each other. On the theme of “One World, One Family,” they shared their experiences and feelings, and expressed their wishes online, giving a special meaning to the activity of Chinese and foreign families celebrating International Day of Families 2020.

They are two generations of medical workers. They are husband and wife working on the frontline of epidemic prevention. They come from different countries but fight against the epidemic tighter. Wherever we are, we share the same destiny. Wherever we live, we are in a big world family. We strongly believe that through our joint efforts, we can overcome the epidemic and live a better and happier life.
