Guided by “lucid waters” idea, SW China's Guizhou developed grapefruit planting on barren ground
Photo taken on Nov. 18, 2020 shows that farmers were picking grapefruit from their own yards in in Fengle Town, Wuchuan Autonomous County, Zunyi City, southwest China's Guizhou Province. In recent years, guided by Xi’s “lucid waters” idea, Wuchuan Autonomous County has adjusted the planting structure. Over 110,000 mu of various fruit has now been planted on the barren hills and slopes, which not only protected the environment, but also helped to achieve the goal of increasing farmers' income.
