Daka China International Internet Communication Event kicks off in Wenzhou, E China's Zhejiang

Wenzhou, Nov. 21, (Guangming Online) – Daka China International Internet Communication Event opened Friday in Wenzhou City in east China's Zhejiang Province.

"Daka," literally meaning "punch a card" in Chinese, refers to the act of "punching in" on social media to mark one's presence while visiting popular places. During the event, online celebrities from different countries will "daka" different places in Zhejiang to explore the beautiful landscape and profound culture there.

Over 40 vloggers and online celebrities from around 20 countries took part in the opening ceremony, and many of them shared their stories and experiences in China.

Several online celebrities attended the event and shared their stories in China at the opening ceremony.

Stuart Thomas Wiggin, a British vlogger who has lived in China for 13 years, produced a series of entertaining and informative online shows to introduce different aspects of China.

Dmitrii Doronin talked about his life experiences in Zhejiang. Having lived in China for seven years, he had enjoyable experiences in China's rural areas.

Musha, an international student from Jordan, studied xiangsheng, Chinese crosstalk and have given several performances in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province. On the opening ceremony of Daka China, he gave a crosstalk performance to introduce "daka" sites of culture and folklore in Zhejiang.

As 44 "daka" sites in Zhejiang Province were revealed on the opening ceremony, vloggers and online celebrities participating in the event start their trips to "daka" all these sites.

They will explore the beautiful landscape, taste local delicacies, and experience profound culture of Zhejiang, and "daka" their journeys on social media in various ways.
