Italian media: Milan woman identified as new ‘patient 1’ who had coronavirus in November 2019

Italian media ANSA reported on Monday that researchers found that a 25-year-old woman in Milan was already positive for the COVID-19 in November 2019, which made her become the “dermatological Italian patient zero”.
A researcher named Raffaele Gianotti who is in dermatology at the University of Milan said that the young Italian woman carried out a biopsy for an “unusual skin condition” on Nov. 10th last year, and he believes that the woman could be the “patient zero” of the coronavirus outbreak in Italy as well as the earliest known novel coronavirus patient in Italy and the the Europe, according to ANSA.
