Key information about China's vaccines

Safety and Efficacy:

Over 9 million does of China-developed COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed in China and people who received the vaccines didn’t show any adverse reactions so far, indicating its safety. China’s first self-developed COVID-19 vaccine shows 79.34% efficacy.

Chinese government always puts safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines in the first place, and Chinese vaccine companies have always strictly followed scientific laws and regulatory requirements in vaccine research and development.

Production Capacity:

With 18 Chinese enterprises starting to build production capacity for COVID-19 vaccines so far, more than 1 billion doses of inactivated COVID-19 vaccines will be produced in 2021.

Free of Charge:

The China-developed COVID-19 vaccine will be provided free of charge to all Chinese People.

16 and 500 million:

16 Countries and regions have ordered about 500 million doses of China-developed COVID-19 vaccines, including: Turkey, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Brazil, Indonesia, Chile, Malaysia, Thailand, Ukraine, Pakistan, Myanmar, Mexico, the Philippines and so on.

Global Public Good:

China has promised that COVID-19 vaccines developed in the country will be made a global public good when they are available. China is willing to promote the equitable distribution of vaccines globally and join hands with other countries to solidify pandemic fight, so as to protect people's lives and health.
