Member of HK LegCo speaks out for patriots governing Hong Kong

Xia Baolong, the vice chairperson of the CPPCC National Committee and the director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office,

earlier explained the principle of "patriots governing Hong Kong". Hong Kong protesters who seek mutual destruction then opposed with rhetoric.

Recently, Yung Hoi-yan, a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, spoke out for "patriots governing Hong Kong".

"The false reasoning of the opposers is basically distorting the facts," she said.

Yung believed that "patriots governing Hong Kong" is a fundamental principle. "Do think about why we need the Hong Kong national securtiy law,

why we are emphasizing "patriots governing Hong Kong," she explained. " It is against the ones wishing to pose a threat to China by causing chaos in Hong Kong."

Before the New Year, Leung Kai-cheong and some other members of the Civil Party reached out to foreign powers to seek sanctions on Hong Kong officials. " Imagine someone claiming to love their country,

while on the sly asking for other countries to sanction the officials and even the Chief Executive in their country," Yung said.

What we are facing now is a bunch of “mutual destruction” mobsters

who would employ the meanest of tricks to separate Hong Kong,

even colluding with other countries.

If the power of Hong Kong's governance is not firmly in the hands of the patriots, Hong Kong will lose its future.
