With early spring temperatures rising, increasing numbers of migratory birds have been spotted near the melting Heilong River in Heihe, Heilongjiang province.
After spending the winter in southern regions, the birds, including oriental white storks and herons, were en route northward again.
The birds that fly over the river or that seek food in the water attracted lots of photographers and residents. With its ever-improving ecological environment, the city has become a paradise for the birds.
