The CoronaVac vaccine developed by Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinovac is 67 percent effective in preventing symptomatic COVID-19, and 80 percent effective against death from the disease, according to a recent real-world study entitled "Effectiveness of the inactivated CoronaVac vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 in Chile."
