Art exhibition opens in Beijing to celebrate CPC centenary

BEIJING, June 27 (Xinhua) -- An art exhibition opened on Sunday in Beijing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The exhibition, featuring approximately 180 artworks including traditional Chinese ink paintings, oil paintings, woodblock prints and sculptures, highlights major historical events as well as outstanding historical figures and Party members since the founding of the CPC.
The event, held at the Museum of the CPC, will run until December this year.
