Xi's five proposals on future relations between China and ASEAN

Chinese President Xi Jinping attended and chaired the ASEAN-China Special Summit to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations via video link on the morning of Nov. 22, 2021.

Regarding the future relations between China and ASEAN, Xi made five proposals:

First, we can build a peaceful home together.

Second, we can build a safe and secure home together.

Third, we can build a prosperous home together.

Fourth, we can build a beautiful home together.

Fifth, we can build an amicable home together.
