On Feb. 18, 2022, 62 Chinese and foreign journalists visited JD Group's "Asia No. 1" logistic center in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area in Daxing District. JD began building its own logistics in 2007, and on April 25, 2017, JD officially established the JD logistics group. JD logistics is China's leading technology-driven supply chain solutions and logistics services provider. As China’s first and the world’s seventh Olympic logistics service providers, JD logistics support the logistics of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games with new driving force for the high-quality and healthy development of green and technological industries. Its service covers almost all regions, towns and populations in China, not only establishing the trust between Chinese e-commerce and consumers, but also redefining the logistics service standards through 211 time-limited product delivery and door-to-door service.

In 2020, JD logistics helped about 90 percent of JD's online retail orders to reach in the same day and the next. By September 30 2021, JD logistics operates about 1,300 warehouses with a total storage area of more than 23 million square meters, including the cloud warehouse area. JD logistics always attaches great importance to technological innovation in the development of enterprises. Based on the underlying technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and the Internet of things, JD logistics continuously improves its capabilities in automation, digital and intelligent decision-making. The enterprise not only greatly improves efficiency in the warehousing, transportation, sorting, and distribution through automatic handling robots, sorting robots, intelligent express delivery vehicles, but also independently develops the storage, transportation and order management system to support the overall digitization of the customer supply chain.

In July 2009, JD began to build an automated logistics center named "Asia No.1", which aimed to be "the largest and most advanced e-commerce logistics center in Asia". JD's "Asia No.1" invested in automated and intelligent logistics equipment to increase efficiency and reduce costs. So far, a total of 42 "Asia No.1" have been put into operation, with Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Shenyang, Xi'an, Hangzhou as the main eight logistics hub, forming Asia's largest smart warehouse group, and aiming to expand further in the second to fifth-tier cities in the future.

Through cooperation with international and local partners, JD logistics has established international lines covering more than 220 countries and regions, with 80 bonded warehouses and overseas warehouses. The enterprise is now building a "double 48-hour" service that will ensure that goods can be shipped from China to the country of destination within 48 hours and delivered to local consumers within the next 48 hours. At the same time, JD logistics focuses on the implementation of a strategic-level project, "Green Logistics Plan", which aims to build a green supply chain, facilitating saving energy, reducing carbon and promoting green development in stages such as storage, sales, packaging and transport.
