Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project under construction

On April 12, 2022, workers are busy working at the construction site of underground pumping station of Shigu Water Source Project in the Lijiang section of the Central Yunnan Water Diversion Project in Yulong County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province.

The central Yunnan Water Diversion Project is one of the 172 major water conservancy projects required by the State Council to be speeded up, and it is an important strategic project to effectively alleviate the water resources shortage in central Yunnan and ensure the sustainable development of Yunnan's ecnomic development.(Photo by Zhao Qingzu/Guangming Photo)
