In September 2021, the street where the museum is located was listed among the first batch of "Cultural Heritage Street" by the Tibetan-Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Ngawa, which is part of a series of efforts made by the local government to tap into the potentials of cultural heritage, facilitate the high-quality development of cultural tourism, and promote rural revitalization.
