The photo taken on Aug. 21, 2022 shows a vivid "tree of the earth" natural landscape in the Jinxian section of Poyang Lake in east China's Jiangxi Province. Under the influence of low precipitation and continuous high temperature, the Yangtze River Basin has seen a rare drought. Poyang Lake has entered the low dry season ahead of schedule, setting the record of the earliest low dry season, and the water surface area of Poyang Lake has shrunk by 3/4 compared with that in June.
