Liuban Village in Pingxiang, south China's Guangxi Province was once a poor village, with 427 registered poor households in 7 natural villages, and the total 1,621 people shared a average annual income of less than 2,000 yuan. Now the village has removed its "poverty cap" and won the title of "advanced collective in poverty alleviation in the region" from 2019 to 2020.
In order to make people's lives better and richer, the Party Branch of Liuban Village has set up cooperatives to help villagers find jobs at home. The four border trade cooperatives have obvious industrial driving effect, contributing to 2,000 yuan of increase in villagers' average annual income
According to Mo Xiaole, mayor of Pingxiang Town, the collective economic income of Liuban Village has increased from 30,000 yuan in 2018 to 3,433,700 yuan in 2021, and has reached 4,305,600 yuan by May 2022, showing a continuous upward trend. Now, Liuban Village is beautiful, rich, prosperous and united, making great strides toward the road of comprehensive rural revitalization.
