"Forging Ahead in the New Era": Exhibition showcases achievements of China's national defense and armed forces in past decade

The exhibition "Forging Ahead in the New Era" opened on September 27, 2022 at the Beijing Exhibition Hall in Beijing. This exhibition is an all-round review of China's great achievements and changes over the past 10 years, featuring such special sections as economic development, comprehensive law enforcement, social progress, and modernization of national defense and armed forces.

Covering a floor area of over 30,000 square meters, the exhibition offers a multi-dimensional display of more than 6,000 exhibits including pictures, objects, and models.

Themed on modernization of national defense and the armed forces, Section 8 of the exhibition is focused on China’s endeavors to strengthen the military with Chinese characteristics and comprehensively implement the modernization of national defense and the military in the past decade.

Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core, socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and the country’s armed forces and national defense have made historic achievements and undergone vigorous reforms.
