Experts have expressed confidence in China's overall recovery and development, expecting a strong economic rebound, steady social development and more fruitful space exploration in 2023.

"The year behind us was not so easy. Luckily, Chinese people managed to succeed in great development," said Ivona Ladjevac, deputy director of the Institute of International Politics and Economics in Serbia. Ivona pointed out that China's economy will rapidly rebound despite the pandemic headwinds given its resilience and potential demonstrated over the past year.

Praising China's spectacular achievements in space, Czech sinologist Vacliv Laifr wished China's space exploration would yield more fruitful results on a solid foundation of economic growth in 2023.

Ivica Bakota is an assistant professor at Capital Normal University and also the co-founder of a Zagreb-based think tank CroAsia. Though challenges and uncertainties remain, a new phase of steady and orderly economic and social development is on the horizon when joint efforts are made by Chinese people together with the whole world, according to Bakota.
