Chinese-built affordable houses in Saudi Arabia successfully handed over

The handover ceremony of the Chinese-built affordable housing project in Jazan, Saudi Arabia was held at the Saudi Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing. Nearly 1,500 sets of housing units built with Chinese standards and technologies won high praise from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia's affordable housing project is one of the important aspects of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" and a key project of the Saudi government to enhance people's livelihood, aiming to introduce an advanced construction technology system and improve the living conditions of the nationals.

At the handover ceremony, Saudi Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail thanked the Chinese for providing high-quality housing for the Saudi people, which will significantly improve the living conditions of local people. Majid said that the Saudi side is very much looking forward to further deepening practical cooperation with China, and hoped that both sides will continue to maintain communication and study the product positioning, technical solutions, material standards, delivery standards and administration mode of Saudi Arabia's housing, so as to continuously achieve mutual benefits.
