The first phase of the PK24 Industrial Park project in Cote d'Ivoire, constructed by Chinese firms, was completed on December 23. The first phase of PK24 Industrial Park, covering an area of 127 hectares, is located in the northwestern part of Abidjan, the economic capital of Cote d'Ivoire. Construction on the project started on February 1st, 2020.
Speaking at the completion ceremony, Ivorian Prime Minister Patrick Achi stated that the project will effectively promote the economic transformation of Cote d'Ivoire and inject new vitality into the industrial construction of Cote d'Ivoire. He encouraged more enterprises to settle in the industrial park and contribute to the construction of the Ivorian economy and youth employment. The Chinese construction staff of the industrial park project made full use of local resources, actively trained local workers and strictly controlled the quality and safety of the project, which won high approval from the local government. After the completion of the project, more enterprises will be attracted to invest and settle in the park, which will effectively promote the formation of industrial clusters and create more employment opportunities for the local community.
