RIO DE JANEIRO, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Defending champions Flamengo scored three first-half goals en route to a 4-0 home win over Aucas in their final Copa Libertadores group match here on Wednesday.
Pedro, Leo Pereira and Bruno Henrique struck before halftime before Victor Hugo added a fourth goal shortly after the restart.
The result at the Maracana stadium left the Brazilian giants second in Group A with 11 points from six matches, two points behind Argentina's Racing Club.
Ecuadorian side Aucas finished last in the group while Chile's Nublense also failed to reach the last 16.
In other Copa Libertadores fixtures on Wednesday, Club Nacional won 1-0 at home to Metropolitanos, Internacional eased to a 3-1 home win over Independiente Medellin, Corinthians cruised to a 3-0 home win over Liverpool, Racing Club won 4-0 at home to Nublense and Independiente del Valle edged to a 3-2 home victory over Argentinos Juniors.
