Beijing Daxing International Airport: Tapping into cultural and tourism resources to showcase architectural charm

As a large international hub and a comprehensive transportation hub in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Beijing Daxing International Airport has fully enhanced the regional air cargo guarantee capacity and service capability, significantly releasing the development potential of China's civil aviation market, while attracting many passengers with its unique humanistic charm.

In 2020, Beijing Daxing International Airport launched a terminal tour service - “Discover the World of ‘Xing’” - which attracted a large number of visitors and has so far received a total of 14,000 passengers, fully demonstrating the architectural charm and national cultural heritage of the airport.

According to the person in charge of the project, “Discover the World of ‘Xing’” project takes market demand as the starting point, actively innovates the concept, focuses on Daxing Airport, continuously explores regional cultural tourism resources, develops study projects, customizes tourism products, creates a rich and high-quality activity experience for passengers, and helps the collaborative development of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.
