Regarding the BRI, Senator Somaine underscored its positive impact on Cambodia through a lens of win-win cooperation. Highlighting projects like the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone and the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, she emphasized the boost in employment opportunities and logistic connectivity, exemplifying prosperous collaboration and mutual development.
Through China's guidance in capacity building and the BRI's tangible benefits, Cambodia looks to a future of strengthened democracy and enhanced infrastructure, Somaine said.
