Swedish business leader calls 6th CIIE “for China and for world”

SHANGHAI - On Nov. 5, 2023, at the sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) taking place in east China’s Shanghai, Guangming Online conducted an exclusive interview with Gustaf Salford, CEO of Swedish company Elekta, a company which focuses on cancer care.

Since Elekta has been in China for over 40 years, Salford remarked that China’s cancer care development during this period has been “a revolution”, where he is stunned by the scale of cancer hospitals and treatment equipment being built across the country.

The health care industry has always been an integral part of the CIIE, where the Expo has an exhibition area dedicated to “Medical Equipment & Healthcare Products”.

At the 6th CIIE, business leaders in the industry can share innovative products on disease prevention and treatment, engage in collaboration, and in turn help to advance health care around the globe.
