A seven-story-high arctic fox art installation has become an online sensation after it was unveiled on the first day of the new year.
Located at the public green space of the Shanghai Suhewan Mixc World, a shopping center along the city's Suzhou Creek, the installation, titled Let's Jump, Arctic Fox, was created by Arcfox, an EV marque of BAIC Group, and famous Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman.
This is Hofman's largest art installation to date.
Hofman is well-known for his art installation works, among which were the giant rubber ducks floating at Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong.
The "fur" on the installation was made using nearly 380,000 pieces of Tyvek eco-friendly paper that were manually pasted onto the body.
