China boasts multiple favorable conditions to attract foreign investment, said Zafar Uddin Mahmood, policy advisor to the secretary-general of BFA and special assistant to the prime minister of Pakistan, in an exclusive interview with Guangming Online during the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2024 in Boao, Hainan province on Thursday.

China’s economic stability and consistent policy of opening up, coupled with its tremendous consumer market potential are two major drivers for attracting foreign investment, Mahmood said.

Highlighting China’s contribution to world economy over the past decades, he noted that China remains the engine for global growth. “It's a very important factor for the global economic development that China continues on its path of development,” he said.
