The China-Indonesia partnership has increasingly become a force for peace and development, said Raden Mohammad Marty Muliana Natalegawa, former foreign minister of Indonesia, during an exclusive interview with Guangming Online at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2024.
Sharing much common interests and concerns, China and Indonesia have developed a very strong, comprehensive strategic partnership over the past few decades, Natalegawa said. “The Boao Forum is a manifestation of how the two countries can work hand in hand in promoting regional peace and global harmonies.”
Looking into the future, Natalegawa pointed out that the task remains to elevate the bilateral relationship to greater heights. It is hence crucial for the younger generations of both nations to actively engage in nurturing this relationship, he said.
