When it comes to new “two wings” of Beijing’s high-quality development, one is Beijing’s sub-center, and the other one is Xiong’an New Area. General Secretary Xi Jinping has made several inspections over the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, proposing to reorganize Beijing’s downtown area, and optimize Beijing’s spatial layout and economic structure.

Beijing is making efforts in promoting high-quality development of Xiong’an New Area and strengthening the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, Beijing has strengthened the functional construction of “four centers”, which firmly grasps the strategic position of the capital city and collaborates with Xiong’an in synergy, translating the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development from a concept into reality, and depicting the beautiful skyline of a world-class city cluster with Beijing as the core.

With holistic planning, coordinated construction, and integrated development, from planning ideas, laying foundations and seeking breakthroughs, to overcoming difficulties and achieving prosperity with collaborative efforts, the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region keeps scaling new heights.
