On April 18th, Sino-American non-governmental culture exchange activities commemorating the 82nd Anniversary of the Great Rescue of Doolittle Raid with the theme "Let the friendship forged by blood and flame be passed down from generation to generation" took place in the Memorial Hall to the Doolittle Raid in Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Since the 1990s, the pilots that are still alive of the "Doolittle Raiders Association" as well as the pilot descendants from the Association "Children of the Doolittle Raiders" have returned to China many times to search for the rescuers. Since then, a deep friendship has been established and passed on from generation to generation.
After the ceremony, the pilot descendants visited the memorial hall and expressed what they learned about the history.
