Xi’an - Usov Artem, a content creator from Russia, recently spoke to Guangming Daily during the World Internet Conference Digital Silk Road Development Forum, discussing how China's digital development has improved people's lives and benefited him personally.

Artem mentioned that the emergence of WeChat and Taobao has improved people's lives. He also observed that in rural areas, some farmers are improving their quality of life by selling goods through live-streaming videos, which he thought was a great way to realize rural revitalization.

Professionally pursuing short video content creation, like Artem, is a phenomenon that has emerged within the last five years. He explained that he and his Chinese partner create humorous videos, and have gained 10 million followers on platforms such as TikTok and WeChat. Recently, thanks to China's extensive high-speed rail network, they have started shooting travel vlogs. Artem stated that his mission as a cross-cultural communicator is to introduce lesser-known travel destinations in China to overseas audiences.
