On June 27, reporters visited Linhuang Community in Chifeng of N China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, where they found its residents immersed in a variety of activities: practicing calligraphy, playing chess, crafting knitted hats, and singing in harmony. The calligraphy teacher shared how the practice cultivates inner peace and a deeper appreciation for China’s cultural heritage. In the crafts area, women exchange not only knitting tips but also share recipes for their ethnic specialties.
Home to 13 ethnic groups, such as Han, Mongolian, Manchu, Hui, and Zhuang, Linhuang Community is a living tapestry of unity and cultural integration that truly embodies the spirit of its nickname: the “Home of National Integration.”
