"Dashiba is a very beautiful place that has managed to preserve its cultural essence," said Ms. Dabee Meerchandni Meshouda Raj, a poverty reduction official from Mauritius. "The temple here is incredible and has retained its religious significance. Many shops sell traditional items, which is excellent for tourists and locals alike. This is the first time we've seen such traditional attire and practices, and it's an amazing experience."

It remains a living culture for current and future generations. In many parts of the world, civilizations have disappeared, but here, we can still learn so much."
