Citizens nationwide apply "Sanfu Plasters" on first day of summer heat

July 15, 2024, marked the first day of the summer heat period, and many citizens across the country visited hospitals to apply "Sanfu Plasters." According to traditional Chinese medicine, "treating winter diseases in summer" is a method where medicinal plasters are applied to specific acupoints on the body to enhance disease resistance, utilizing the summer period for conditioning, warming the lungs, and invigorating yang energy. This method aims to prevent chronic diseases and alleviate symptoms.
